VX 550
The VX 550 offers a 350 mm maximum turning diameter, 500 mm swing over bed, and 550 mm maximum turning length, with 570 mm distance between centers. Its slide configuration provides 185 mm X-axis travel and 550 mm Z-axis travel, supported by rapid feed rates of 30 m/min on both axes.
The machine features an A2-6 spindle nose, 63 mm spindle bore, 51 mm maximum bar capacity, and a 200 mm 3-jaw chuck. Its spindle operates from 50 to 3500 rpm, with a full power range of 1000–3000 rpm and 9/12 kW spindle motor ratings.
An 8-station turret with 25 × 25 mm tool size and 40 mm maximum boring bar capacity supports flexible machining requirements. Positioning accuracy of 0.008 mm and repeatability of 0.007 mm help maintain consistent, precise performance across production cycles.
