The VX 400 offers a 320 mm maximum turning diameter, 500 mm swing over bed, and 425 mm maximum turning length, with 450 mm distance between centers. Its slide configuration provides 170 mm X-axis travel and 425 mm Z-axis travel, supported by rapid feed rates of 30 m/min on both axes.
The machine features an A2-5 spindle nose, 54 mm spindle bore, 42 mm maximum bar capacity, and a 200 mm 3-jaw chuck. Its spindle operates from 50 to 4000 rpm, with a full power range of 1000–3000 rpm and motor ratings of 5.5/7.5 kW.
An 8-station turret with 25 × 25 mm tool size and 40 mm maximum boring bar capacity supports versatile machining operations. Positioning accuracy of 0.008 mm and repeatability of 0.007 mm help deliver consistent, precise performance across production cycles.
