The machine is available with BT40 and BT50 spindle configurations. The BT40 version operates from 80 to 8,000 rpm, while the BT50 version offers a speed range of 60 to 6,000 rpm. A cutting feed rate of up to 10,000 mm/min and spindle power options of 11 kW and 15 kW provide strong, controlled performance for heavy and precise machining applications.
A twin-arm automatic tool changer is available with 24 or 20 tools, depending on the selected configuration. Random tool selection supports fast, reliable tool changes and helps reduce non-cutting time. The machine delivers positioning accuracy of 0.010 mm and repeatability of 0.007 mm, supporting consistent surface quality and dependable dimensional control.
With approximate dimensions of 2883 × 3325 × 3310 mm, the V 1066 combines a generous machining envelope with rigid, industrial-grade construction.
