LX 1500 SUPER
The LX 1500 SUPER is a heavy-duty CNC turning center designed for high-precision machining, exceptional rigidity, and reliable performance in demanding manufacturing environments. With a 710 mm swing over bed, 400 mm swing over carriage, and a maximum turning diameter of 630 mm, it is capable of handling a wide variety of medium to large workpieces. The machine provides a maximum turning length of 1525 mm, 325 mm X-axis travel, 1525 mm Z-axis travel, and a rapid traverse speed of 20 m/min, delivering efficient machining and high productivity for long-component applications.
The machine is powered by either a 15/18 kW Fanuc or 15/18.5 kW Siemens spindle motor, offering a spindle speed range of 50–1500 RPM for heavy-duty cutting operations. It features a 110 mm spindle bore, A2-11 spindle nose, and an 88 mm maximum bar capacity, allowing it to accommodate larger workpieces with ease. The 8-station turret supports 50 mm maximum boring bars and 32 × 32 mm tool holders, while the MT-5 tailstock, equipped with a 100 mm quill diameter and 120 mm quill stroke, provides stable support during precision machining.
