The DCM 5227 is built for machining oversized workpieces with outstanding precision and structural stability. It features 5200 mm X-axis travel, 2760 mm Y-axis travel, and 800 mm Z-axis travel, with an optional 1000 mm Z-axis configuration. A 2500 mm distance between columns, 4500 × 2000 mm table, and 12,000 kg table load capacity provide the strength and workspace required for the most demanding heavy-duty machining applications.
Powered by a BT-50 spindle operating from 80 to 6000 RPM, the DCM 5227 delivers cutting feed rates of up to 10,000 mm/min for efficient and reliable machining. It is available with Fanuc, Siemens, and Mitsubishi control systems and comes equipped with a standard 20-tool automatic tool changer, expandable to 24, 30, or 40 tools, ensuring faster setup and improved productivity
Designed for long-term performance, the DCM 5227 achieves 0.025 mm positional accuracy and 0.020 mm repeatability for consistently precise results. A screw conveyor with chip tray provides efficient chip evacuation, while its robust 38,000 kg construction ensures maximum rigidity and dependable performance in high-precision industrial manufacturing.
