The distance between columns is 1700 mm, while the rapid traverse rates for the X, Y, and Z axes are 15, 20, and 15 m/min respectively. The distance from the table to the spindle face ranges from 200 to 1000 mm, or up to 1200 mm in the optional configuration. It is equipped with a spacious 2200 × 1300 mm table featuring nine T-slots, a 125 mm T-slot centre distance, and a 22 mm slot width. The table supports a maximum safe load of 6000 kg.
The machine uses a BT-50 spindle with a speed range of 80 to 6000 RPM and a cutting feed rate of 1 to 10,000 mm/min. Motor options include Fanuc, Siemens, and Mitsubishi systems with different power ratings. Its automatic tool changer supports 20 tools as standard, with optional capacities of 24, 30, or 40 tools. The maximum tool diameter is 125 mm with all pockets occupied and 220 mm when adjacent pockets are empty. It accommodates tools up to 400 mm in length and 20 kg in weight.
The DCM 2216 offers a positional accuracy of 0.020 mm and repeatability of 0.015 mm, delivering precise, reliable machining performance. Chip removal is handled through a screw conveyor and chip tray. The machine weighs approximately 23,000 kg and is available with Fanuc 0i-MF Plus, Siemens 828D, or Mitsubishi M80V control systems.
